The BG lost the threads but Leto took them over and rewove them over 3000 years to make Siona and the Golden Path. Maybe Feyd's genes were rewoven many years later into the Atriedes.

I think Siona could have been a KH if KH means more than being male. I don't recall her having OM but after her test she saw The Golden Path and had visions during the Spice Test. Leto tells her that she could become a worm like him; she has the ability. I don't think it was a RM BG test but something custom tailored by the Tyrant for the new-and-improved Atriedes to continue the Golden Path.
