i was thinking that ,since a lot of the old planets were destroyed by the honored matres, the new novel would take place, in part at least, with the refugees in their universe. one other aspect about the new enemy- in the house series there is a section that has the navigator c'tair ,he was d'murs brother,
sensing an ancient and future enemy. it has been argued that this is omnius. the atreides bred to be invisible to navigators and other prescients. aren't machines also invisible to them? i don't recall prescient vision being able to "see" machines at all.
