Subject: The Ominus Enemy

Here's what it should be, considering the many trails that have led to this part of the story.

Omnius is in the far reaches of unknown space. Omnius was not powerful enough to destroy all of mankind- which was (his) goal in the book Butlerian Jihad.

The Bene Teilaxu have stated in Dune Messiah that they had created their own version of a Kwizatz Haderach, and that it eventually killed itself.

The face Dancer/ couple of Daniel and Marty seem to me to be a pair of "God-like"super-beings- certainly could be the Teilaxu versions of a Kwizatz Haderach. The fact that it's a pair of them may be from their learning the lesson Leto and Gahnima's 'success" taught them- twins or a couple could avoid becoming abombination, and the awful loneliness that Paul felt and lived with, being a freak among men with his prescient visions...

God Emperor Leto mentions at one point that he is,indeed an abombination, but has "made a bargain with his most powerful ancestor 'Agamemnon.' (this is from memory_ I hadn't read the original series in 6+ years) We find in Butlerian Jihad that he probabaly means the Atreides cyborg that is in that book alongsode Omnius- not the mythical character from Greek legend....

Leto and Paul both saw the possible end of mankind in their prescient visions. This is hinted about as the "Typhoon Struggle" in fremen myth- Fremens use the spice in everything and prophecy was aprt of much of their life,... One of the most obvious changes Leto made in his 3500+ yr hold on mankind was to breed the ability for people to go undetected by precient visonaries. The other is to instill in people an inner drive to go forth in a 'scattering.'This may allow mankind to survive longer than what we know of the empire will,when the "Typhoon Struggle' comes...

The "enemy" will have to be a prescient being with truelly God-like powers, one that is bent on the utter destruction of mankind. Omnius has those kind of 'absolute ' powers available in his mechanized worlds but...Can a mechanical mind be the 'precient' creature Paul and Leto were trying to prepare mankind for? I think it's more likely that it will be an Omnius creature that has been compromised or taken over by Agamemnon.

I think Omnius, or Agamemnon, has learned the history of mankind including Paul and Leto,ect. It learned this from the people of the scattering that first encountered it. Perhaps it uses Teliaxu and possibly even Atreides genes to create his own cyborg version of a kwizatz haderach- one that will be coming after the "whores" and all mankind to first subvert them then destroy them.

This is the vision Paul and Leto saw- the "Typhoon Struggle." The only ones to survive will be the scattered humans and only those with the ability to go undetected by precient visionaries..
