Subject: DUNE 7 part deux

In the last thread I think we've all pretty much agreed that Omnius will make an appearance in DUNE 7. Some of us think it will be a major role, others think it's minor.

The other topic is Are Sheeana, Duncan, Teg, and Scytale off in an unknown universe free from the destinies plotted for them.
- Sheeana free from the BG and their Missionaria schemes, but scheming apparently with a plan of her own
- Duncan free from his need for Murbella (but oh! at what cost.) But acting independent of Sheeana, did he foil her plans?
- Teg free from Bene Gesserit control, and the same with Scytale
- And the whole group as a whole free from the Control of the Face Dancers Marty and Daniel. But how did these two get so powerful that they could control the fate of Duncan's group?

So where did they go? Will they be around for DUNE 7... read on :-)

And what about those two Face Dancers... did the Tleilaxu unintentionally create another Kwisatz Haderach? Could they be somehow maybe be Paul and Chani? how about Leto and Ghanima?

and now chairdog has mentioned a conversation Murbella has with Other Memory Dar. The exact wording is...

Oh, more than that. It's the next phase: Muad'Dib to Tyrant to Honored Matres to us to Sheeana . . . to what? Can't you see it? The thing is right there at the lip of your thoughts. Accept it as you would swallow a bitter drink.

Murbella shuddered.

See it? The bitter medicine of a Sheeana future? We once thought all medicines had to be bitter or they were not effective. No healing power in the sweet.

Must it happen, Dar?

Some will choke on that medicine. But the survivors may create interesting patterns.

Thanks to chairdog for pointing this out... Maybe Sheeana and company will be in the next book..

First they had Muad'Dib and he set them upon a path,
Then the Tyrant screwed them with his path,
then the Whores came back to screw them,
and then their big plans themselves for mankind
and now Sheeana's plan which will change everything.. They see it coming.. but leave it undefined.
