Subject: VVS LAXATIVES R9 "Laxatives go ga ga over Socceroos"
In reply to: VVS LAXATIVES 's message, "VVS LAXATIVES Team Thread" on 13:02:03 03/29/06 Wed

Laxatives coach Floodney Spew is having a difficult time this week getting his players focussed after all their attention appears to be directed towards the FIFA World Cup. Laxatives players were seen at 2am in a Mumbai Hotel watching highlights of the Socceroos defeat of Japan. Rumours abound that they had been drinking "Jonathan Hay" style.

Captain Barry Hall denies the allegations "We were just supporting our National team even though we're over here, we're quite racist about other cultures so still support Australia in any sport. I'm not sure of that Aloisi name, it doesn't sound Australian to me, but then it's not Japanese either, so he must be one of ours."

Team spokesman, and the seemingly intelligent, Joel Bowden said it was a tactical move "We're looking at reducing the oppositions score. Flood likes us to bottle things up and we'd love nothing more than having a 3-1 win. We're of the view scores in the 100s are a waste of energy. Our fans love us to get big stats though. I'm aiming to be the first player to score a century in a game, thats 100 possessions. It would be just like a cricket century, our fans would love that - All 125 million of them."

Coach Spew concurred that he was looking at soccer tactics "Getting every player behind the ball is interesting to me. We've had opposition teams walk off in a combination of disgust and boredom, to me that's a complement."
