Subject: Nawab slams RFL Admin

In what's becoming a yearly occurrence club president of RFL cellar dwellars VVS Laxatives has sent a broadside to the RFL Commission over its decision to allow a new team into the competition so close to the season opener. "Its typical of them, anything to keep a foreign team out of the finals" the Nawab of Carnegie commented after leaving court during the "spice wars" trial yesterday. The Nawab is facing insider trading charges over allegations he consorted to control 98% of the worlds tumeric.

The Laxatives outspoken billionaire president was particularly critical afer his club lost the chance to sign gun forward Nick Veevoldt. "Nick Veevoldt was our future, he's bought a house in Punjab and I bought him one in Caracas, he has even lodged applications to change his name to Veevoldt so we can pronounce his name correctly" he said "when are the RFL going to wake up that this sort of policy on the run approach is hurting the game here, we're struggling get 3 million members, and now this".

New coach Floodney Spew was equally disappointed "Now I'm stuck with that fat slug Kingsley, I do hope Veevoldt does a knee and misses the season. I'll feel much better" he said.
