Subject: Beat It: As I said before, the "oohs" and "aahs" are very, very silly, but this is a cracking song. Though as you yourself said Jim Jimmer, after hearing him singing about something on History, the content of these songs do seem empty, don't they? I think the success of this album is largely hype - Jacko was everywhere at the time, wasn't he? You listen to this and you get a happy memory of innocent days. It's like when I listen to 80s albums by Prince - not because Prince has had to fork out $30 and poured Ajax on his face, but because I think "oh yeah, there was a time when Prince wasn't shite." I taped some Prince for someone you know, Jim. But they never listened to it, don't you think that's a fucker? Rating: ****
In reply to: Rich 's message, "Sorry, Grigg, I didn't click that your Drac review was on our site - I'll go there now matey! And review a film I've seen! And did I mention that I have nearly all but about 5 Blake's 7 episodes from season three/four? You know, the stuff that's being shown on the Sci-Fi channel at the moment?" on 19:02:26 06/11/01 Mon

  • Billie Jean: "The kid is not my son." I know he's not, you should have thought about that, you dirty fucker! Could have saved yourself a bit of cash. And are those "kids" of his not really his kids or what? Rating: **** (NT) -- Rich, 19:10:10 06/11/01 Mon
