If so I'd say for peace of mind go for it. She can be your advocate and make sure your wishes are honored etc. Then you can just relax and have the baby. Let someone else fight your battles KWIM? On Baby Story and Birthday and such women have in hospitl midwife attended deliveries pretty often. An OB oversees, but the midwife makes sure it happens like mom wants it.

I am so sorry you are having such a stressful end, but just think at least you have been spared dealing with rude idiot doctors through the whole pregnancy. I'd see who your midwife suggests deliver - surely she's got a name tucked away somewhere for emergancy's etc.
