I might say I tried it but I would never assume one year made me a homeschooler. My friend is putting her kids back into traditional school and it is killing her but they can't afford to have her stay home any longer. Her husband just got out of the Air Force (he decided it wasn't for him any longer - not a retirement) so she had to go back to work. I know how hard she worked with her son (they wanted to medicate him...she gives him herbs instead) and I know it was a very difficult decision. I kind of feel like if I'm not sure I want to homeschool then I shouldn't. I'm going to totally be supplimenting her education for sure. I want her to have the advantage...if we get to a low score state I'll fight to skip her up...if we end up in a higher scoring state I want her to have a chance to at least be with the average kids...lol I don't expect my children to be perfect just to be allowed to work at the level they can do without being held back by the other kids. Does that make sense? I'm going to sign up for time4learning.com and see if she likes that - I've read good reviews on that for suppliment. AND I have officially added the title soccer mom to my resume...lol I signed her up for dance and soccer! But more on that in another post. lol
