I'm having visions of two weeks from now when Nathan tells you that he still wants a pair of plain shoes just like his brother's, lol!

I wish my kids didn't get my feet...I never have shoe stories like yours! The $24.99 is about our usual price...on sale. I've paid up to $40.00 for a pair for Liam. Luckily for me, the higher number New Balance shoes don't fit us...they're cut narrower...so he isn't tempted by the $80 versions.

When he was little I got his shoes at Stride Rite. It wasn't unusual to pay $60 a pair there! That was before I found out that New Balance makes kids shoes in wide.

One thing that drives me nuts is that Payless doesn't carry their character shoes in wide. They are the same company that used to be Venture...and venture carried the wide versions. I've asked over and over again...but you know Payless. The people just work there. They have no stake in what's on the shelves.

Liam is the one that always wanted shoes that had characters or that lit up. Teiguen really doesn't care. That makes shoe shopping easier!

Did you find school outfits for them, too, or is that on the agenda for today????
