I am opposite. I want the more expensive (and I don't know why this is when I shop) plain shoes. Lauren changes her mind on characters every few weeks. "IF" I say ok to the shoes with pictures it's flowers, hearts, or butterflies. The one time I did say yes to strawberry shortcake they were on clearance...lol Seems like the plain ones I find are always more expensive than the character ones. The BX will have character shoes on sale "all" the time. Usually $10 or less (mostly less). But plain shoes go with more...lol If I want "cheap" plain shoes now I'm going to have to order them off of payless.com unless I get the stores all figured out...might have to see what Scarpe & Scarpe have (scarpe means shoe)...lol

I'm glad he got shoes he likes but I agree with Beth he will probably look back at Ryan's shoes and want the plain ones still...lol

Sounds like you got some deals on clothes too! Have you shopped Old Navy online for you? They have had some pretty good deals lately. $5 shipping is hard to beat when you think about gas lately too...lol I'm glad we have a break on our first car (pay American average price)...it's around 1.38 euro a liter! Holy Cow! The exchange rate right now is about 1 euro is .78 cents...I can totally see why so many younger ppl here ride bikes or scooters...lol
