WHen I get a "normal" window I'll have to think about that. All of our windows are actually french doors. LOL I had a cheapie ($6) blue sheer and added one more to it just to give it the feeling of "you can't see me while I cook" and I'll still be able to see out a little. We did that with the dinning room only with "lace". I am sooo about cheap curtains. LOL When I get my own house and we aren't moving ever again (that sounds so wierd right now) then I'll spend more than $15 (I think that was my priciest) panel and of that one I only had to buy 1 to cover...lol
