yesterday I managed to get some things done even though it was 102 outside. That really slows me down. There are things that I want to do that I just can't (like weed the flowerbeds)because I can sit down and do a bunch of that stuff but at 102 my body just can't tolerate the heat. I'd like to sit outside and watch the kids play in the pool but again, it makes me sick to sit baking in the sun.

I did manage to dig out the small tabletop baby swing from the garage and start cleaning it up. It wasn't in bad shape, it was just dirty. Robert took the thing apart and checked loose wires and connections and cleaned the contact points. I washed the cover and attached toys. Between the two of us the thing is cleaned inside and out! lol lol

Paul at 3 has become a living nightmare. He is really acting out and hard to handle. No-one wants to deal with him and he gets sent to me a lot. To be fair he is really, really acting bad. He is going around and breaking things on purpose and ripping out books and photo albums and ripping them apart and tried to break the downstairs tv by throwing things and managed to crack the corner of it. I know he is acting out but he wasn't like this before and the change is drastic.

Me, I am still clicking along. I guess in reality Robert should go into the office tomorrow since it doesn't look like the baby is coming anytime soon. There is a midwife within a few blocks of here that is aware and if Robert is out she will rush over here to be with me until my midwife gets here or he gets home. The idea is comforting and a little weird because I have never met this woman in my life. I am sure that if I go over they will induce or if the baby gets too big. We have been to the birthing center, that is where they did the sonogram and we are using the bigger hospital in Rockwall as the backup hospital and the midwife took care of all of that and our family care doctor also knows and will help anyway he can. I just don't want to take the pitocin if I can get away from it and I thought my body would just click over by now. The baby is still measuring normal and his vitals are good and mine are better than they have been in years. So here I wait for now.

I guess the little boy from next door has gone back to his mom's because we haven't seen him in 2 days. If that is the case, I really wish they would have told us so Ian could have said goodbye. It isn't just this family but I notice that a lot of families that we deal with have taught their children no manners at all and the parent's are not doing much better. I am talking simple things like "please and thank-you" I have taught Ian to say thank-you for coming to play at my house or thank-you for letting me play at your house. That sort of stuff. I can't imagine sending my 6 year old over to the neighbors and having him actually open the door and walk into the house like his friend has and then getting mad because we didn't hear him ring the doorbell! It isn't just the kids, I swear a lot of the adults I have to deal with are as rude as can be now a days and it drives me crazy. I think I am getting too old and set in my ways! lol lol

So, that is my update so far. No-one will take me to Six Flags or to the bungee jumping place and since I can't fit behind th wheel of the car, I am now at the mercy of other people! UGH!!! Maybe a little Tae Bo will shake something loose.
