I left the house and went to the BX just for hair dye and a toaster. I could have waited on the dye and I could have gone "around the corner" for the toaster but decided to make the trip anyway. It was so nice to be out and about! Talked to the wife of Chris's boss - she is really nice. Said Lauren would have to come and play in the sandbox they built for their son. They are here for 4 years too. So it will be nice to get them playing together. He is younger by a year and an only child (at least right now - you never know) so I doubt he will try the crud that the kids around here have tried. He is going to be going to Asilo though. I thought about putting Lauren in (Italian preschool) but the one here in our town I've not heard good stories about. I have her on the list for the child development center though for fall. The list is long and it's only 4 hours a week(in 2 days) but it should provide her with an opportunity to meet the kids she will be going to K with the following year. Knowing someone will make that easier I think. I'm glad that these kids are all going ahead of her so at least I won't have to worry about them picking on her at school too much.

Meanwhile...I was just wondering how you guys were all doing...sigh! It's warm here today but I have kept the sun out of my house all day so it isn't too bad. Just dark...lol
