BC here are handled at the city municipal building. You can also get them at any DPS office I think. I called today to check and see how much it was so I was sure I had enough money and they've raised the price from $13 to $24!!!!!!! I'm sorry that's just ridiculous. They also said the wait (because of school registration) was 1.5-3 hours this week and I don't have that kind of time this week. I have his Hospital Certificate and I know the school district accepts it as proof of age as long as the foot prints and attending doctor signature are on it. However I also know our school secretary doesn't like to accept them because she has to copy the front and back (add the rolling my eyes icon here)! I decided she'd just have to deal with it. Anyway the boys are registered.

Our schools won't transfer forms either which is silly because when they transfer the cum folder all the info is in it and now there are two copies of everything.

The one thing that was pissing people off today is requiring proof of residency - a utility bill, lease agreement etc. I don't feel sorry for them though because it's been on the news and in the paper numerous times over the week in all the Things you need to know for back to school stories.
