My landlord lives in Ft. Worth. All the workers here communicate with her and I end up staying half in the dark. She is also kind of condescending to me - like I'm just another stupid renter. We are trying to decide on flooring etc. I want wood laminate in all bathrooms, living room, and kitchen. The floor guy said it would be cheaper and better because it won't crack when the floors settle from the work they are doing. She's convinced it's more expensive and is still stuck on tile. I DON'T want ceramic tile in my kitchen because it's too hard and I'm afraid the kids will drop something on it and break it. We are also going to paint before we lay the floor at leas in the living room and hallway. Any suggestions on color - LOL. It's a toss between butteryellow, white, and blue - I'm leaning towards a butter yellow.

It's looking like it could be at least TWO more weeks and I just really want to go home. I feel like my kids are being cheated out of a summer (they aren't, but it's not fair that I'm so upset all the time).

I've done nothing for father's day or Hannah's bday (next Wednesday) and I'm just a frazzled mess.

So anyone find good rates on a flight to Tahiti?
