I'm off until the 10th and then we have 3 more weeks of SS.

We've been painting at the house. The tile guys FINALLY showed up and are supposed to finish the floor tiles tomorrow. The shower will be next week. I have NO CLUE when they are laying carpet. Looks like at least another week. We've talked to several people in construction and it seems these guys have more jobs than they can possibly get done. We called 6 other places and got estimates of 2.5 weeks to 6 weeks before they could get to us. There is so much new construction here no one wants to do remodels.

Apparently the landlords have known this and just assumed that because they demanded it to be done sooner it would be. I'm way sick of them. Benny was here all week. Didn't tell us he was coming just showed up. I went to the house and he was there and ripping down the fence. He hired a neighbor to put up a new one. He left today, but plans to be back next week to do some other things. His language is atrocious and he talks in circles so no one is every really sure what he wants done. Including the guy he has working for him.

My backyard looks like hell. I doubt the kids will get to play out there at all this summer. Assuming we get home.

Our 10th anniversary is the 13th and we ahve a weekend trip planned. I'm going to feel awful being home for a few days and then leaving my kids at my mom's again. We've tossed around her going there - I guess we will just play it by ear.

Ryan is going to Junior Church camp a week from today. He told me we can NOT move home while he's gone. He'll be gone Fri - Sun.

Other than that not much going on - as if that all isn't enough.
