Ok it's Saturday. I'm not used to this...being home doing "nothing". I woke up and thought...I miss WalMart. LOL Ok so I miss being able to just wander around a HUGE store and not care if my kids are a little testy. Feels so different here when they are testy. I suppose because it draws attention to the fact that we are Americans. I'm proud of that...but sometimes you want to blend in. We are told daily (TV commercial propaganda) to blend in, don't draw attention to yourself...don't become a target for terrorism. That is not happening so much when you have a toddler and a 4 year old!!!!

Chris is at work, they are still trying to get the mess cleaned up on base. Most of it should be done by now...but still no word on if he will be coming home by 5 or not. UGH! I wanted to take Lauren to get see Over the Hedge (they don't get kids movies too often on base) but I can't take them both alone yet. I would except they make you park the strollers in the lobby because so many people come with them. I'm taking Em's booster seat next time so I can strap her to the seat...lol but it will be too much of a hassle without the stroller to try to take them both if Ems gets upset or Lauren has to go potty...sigh! I hope Chris gets home on time to catch the last show at least. I haven't told Lauren just incase.

Hope you guys have a better Saturday!

Brandie
