Author: Christine [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 07:47:02 07/03/06 Mon Author Host/IP: doc-24-32-0-80.terrell.tx.cebridge.net/24.32.0.80 Robert called and the guy in charge of the tech department was there early this morning. Since Robert goes out of his way to help people and to be nice to everyone this guy got him a new motherboard on the spot (forgoing the paperwork for now and not notifying his boss) The new motherboard is installed and the laptop seems to be up and running. He didn't tell me what was lost but he said he would be coming home after lunch to work from home. The bad side is that the other person in the office who has it out for him was there this morning. This lady found out what happened and I am sure in the near future she will tell their boss what happend to get herself out of trouble or to make Robert look bad. This is the same lady that put me into a funk a month ago when I went to the office and she told me I looked huge and continued to pretty well insult me loudly in front of the whole office for quite a while. I had never met her before that day. What an impression she made on me! It isn't over yet. He will still get in trouble but his boss wasn't even in the office this morning and he is supposed to be. Huh, what's up with that? Robert is freaked out that I am sick and very worried I am too upset over this. I am still freaking out Unfortunately his boss is the one who has a lot of say over a promotion coming up that Robert wants and frankly this guy is jealous of him (others have noticed) and has been trying to make him look bad at all costs. He will already get a few weeks to bad talk Robert while he is out and that is right before they start discussing the promotions. I better go take some tylenol, I think I am finally running a fever.
