Last night Teiguen fell asleep on the couch at 7...for third night in a row. I woke him up about 10:30 so he could take his medicine and get ready for bed.

Well, then he got messing with Liam and at about 11:15 a commercial for Pirates came on, saying there was a 12:01 showing. Of course, they both wanted to go. I tried to tell them that we wouldn't get home until 3 am...but they were psyched.

So, off we went, them in pjs. We got to the movie theatre at 11:35...and they had just sold out! They were showing it on 6 screens and sold out all 6 midnight shows...wow!

While we were there I grabbed tickets for the first show today. And, I made sure we got there early, which was good, because it sold out, too.

Okay, I have to say first off that I hate a lot of second-in-a-trilogy movies because they only serve to set up the third movie. I much prefer 3 movies that can stand on their own. This was the former type.

The movie itself was great...but it leaves things unresolved until the end of May next year. I'd almost rather go to a 5 hour movie than one like this.

Still, it is funny, the action is great, and the creatures really are very, very creepy. It was a little intense for Teiguen, but he came out okay. He wore his Pirates shirt and was ready to cheer, lol!
