每次離港外遊，我總會在機場禁區中先吃一頓才上機；而芸芸食店中，我的選擇通常都是「漢堡王」。
「漢堡王」的英文名比較出名，恕不寫出來了。以前它的中文名並非「漢堡王」，而是音譯「堡加敬」；為啥現在變了「漢堡王」？應該是跟隨內地及台灣的譯法吧。
「阿王」在原產地美國，是數一數二的名牌快孺情A更是全球第二大漢堡連鎖店。它的特色是：其漢堡包中的那片牛肉是用爐火燒烤的（即所謂BBQ），而不是像「老麥」般用平鑊煎的。個人感覺，烤的真係會香啲、好食啲！
照計香港人咁鍾意BBQ，「阿王」一定會好受歡迎啦！事實卻非如此。「阿王」以往曾兩度登陸香港，結果都不敵「老麥」而敗走。第一次，大約是在七十年代末、八十年代初，當時幾家美國快孺惘P時起步在港發展；唯幾年之後，「老麥」明顯一枝獨秀，擊退了其他對手，而「阿王」也在港絕迹了好一段日子。到九十年代，「阿王」又捲土重來，在旺區有不少分店；但不知怎地，過了幾年又紛紛停業，一間不留。
直到幾年前，驚喜地發現新機場的禁區內居然有一家「漢堡王」，真係一大喜訊！於是，以後每逢離港都定必幫襯。
