看雜誌介紹近期上畫的電影，被一套戲名吸引住我的目光：《遇人不熟》。
《遇人不熟》？驟眼看，這四個字既熟悉但卻又有點怪怪的。噢，原來是我的職業本能又來了：《遇人不熟》有錯字！
中文成語中，只有「遇人不淑」而沒有「遇人不熟」的。很明顯地，片商把該套日本片譯為《遇人不熟》，是故意玩字。
無獨有偶，最近有一套電視劇集，也是在玩這個「淑變熟」的遊戲。《窈窕熟女》，講述四個成熟未婚女人的求偶趣事，於是就用上「熟女」這個新創詞。然而，大家都知道，原文該是「窈窕淑女」吧！
這種玩字的伎倆，由來已久，可謂一種香港次文化特色。早年的片名《盜火線》（「導火線」）、《三步殺人曲》（「三部曲」）等，十分為人逅病，因為釵h年輕人會先入為主，以後就把「玩字」當做「正字」了。
相較之下，《遇人不熟》和《窈窕熟女》，破壞力更大！
其實，有關方面在使用這些玩字戲名、劇名的時候，能否不吝嗇地加一對引號（如《遇人不「熟」》，讓大家得到暗示：「這是在玩字，不是正字」呢？
而有關當局在審批戲名、劇名時，又能否在用字上有所規管，令大家不要玩得咁盡呢？
