在電視新聞中看到，一個野豬家庭（四至六頭）日前出沒在葵涌醫院後山，其中三頭小野豬更一度闖入醫院範圍，橫衝直撞，大鬧一場。
在熒幕所見，三頭小野豬十分可愛，肥騰騰的走來走去，似乎十分驚慌，亦很怕人。明顯是野豬一家在覓食時，因迷路而誤闖入城，引起這場小風波。醫院人員對這幾頭不速之客望而生畏，而聞訊到場的警員亦束手無策，不敢接近。
最後，新聞報道員匆匆交代，說最後三頭小野豬已在傍晚由野豬狩獵隊人員射殺……（似乎是恐防觀眾反感，所以並沒有播出野豬被射殺的片段。）
甚麼？射殺？真的令人難以置信，也難以接受。
如果情況是，野豬在市區大肆破壞、誤傷途人，那麼當局決定馬上射殺，絕對無可厚非。可是，現在該三頭連獠牙也未生出來的小野豬，只不過迷路而竄來竄去，為何要馬上射殺？為何不可以用麻醉槍將之捕獲，然後放生回郊野？
不過，據知野豬並非受香港法例保護的「受保護動物」，看來未必會有人出來為牠們「呼冤」或爭取動物權益了。只嘆野豬家庭出來得太早，足足早了一年！如果明年這個時候牠們才出沒，就會被看成是「瑞豬迎豬年」，其結果也雪|大大不同！
