朋友P君失驚無神，在過年前選購了一部LCD電視。
查實，他家中那部四十二吋的傳統顯像管大電視，仍然「活」得很好，根本沒有換機的逼切性。他也明白到，現時買電視機是處於一個頗尷尬的時期；皆因數碼廣播的制式在港仍未有定案，現在買入的機款在一兩年後，未必能對應有關的數碼制式，到時可能要另外花錢添置解碼器，甚至要再換機。
那麼，為何P君仍然堅持要在過年前，放棄舊機，花萬多元換一部LCD電視呢？只因一句話──詳細點說，是只因他太太的一句話。
──再詳細點說，是只因她太太在讀過某份報刊某份報道之後，所說的一句話。
那句話是：「我最近睇到篇文，話LCD電視輻射低好多，細路仔睇得多對眼都冇咁傷！咁我哋快啲換啦！」
噢，不得不提的是，P生P太家中正好有一位歲零兩歲的寶貝仔（經常在本欄出現），據說已經懂得看電視，還會邊看邊「吚吚喲喲」的作出反應，一副津津有味的樣子！
妻命，固之然不可違；而「太子」的將來，更是全家的第一優先考慮！於是乎嘛，P君就拿拿臨走去選購LCD電視囉！
呵呵，真的想對P仔講句：「你父母對你咁好，你記住要睇多啲電視喇！」
