都說：追求環保，是需要付出代價的；而且，有時要付出的代價絕對不輕！問題是，這個代價應由誰來付出？
為了減少城中汽車排出的廢氣，於是政府年前就鼓勵的士小巴業者，轉用石油氣車輛，以代替廢氣較多的油渣車輛。
車主們及司機們以往用開油渣車好地地，做乜要響應政府的號召，轉用石油氣車？今時今日的所謂民主社會，再沒有「威逼」這回事，只可以「利誘」。於是，政府以免地價的優惠，讓石油氣公司設立專用入氣站，而免地價的條件是石油氣不能隨意加價。車主司機見有比油渣更相宜的能源，就紛紛轉投石油氣車的陣營了。
OK，政府以為在此事上，「免了地價」是變相付出了一大代價，已盡了推行環保的責任。可是，石油價格升完又升，氣站再不加價就分分鐘無利可途；難道要氣站虧本經營，由他們付上環保的代價麼？他們當然不肯。
政府無計可施，唯有放鬆氣站加價的基制。一鬆之下，氣站今次公布每公升一次過加一元，加幅四成！嘩，如果你是車主或司機，被「騙」了用石油氣車，你會不憤怒嗎？在生計和環保之間，難道要環保行先嗎？
此事又再反映了，港府所謂「環保政策」的極度失敗！
