這陣子，城中出現了不少很好的電影題材、劇集藍本。唯以下內容全屬虛構，如有雷同實屬不幸。
──禽流感病毒變種，逐漸從鳥類轉而入侵哺乳類。某西方大國一個以畜牧業為主的小鎮，因一次極小的意外，促使禽流感加速變種，病毒終於由牛、羊、犬等傳給人類。為免疫症擴散，軍方高層一方面封鎖消息，一方面計劃以核彈滅鎮，裝成核意外。一名科學家不值軍方所為，暗中把消息透露給記者朋友……咦，乜咁似嗰部《極度驚慌》？
──某國新主雖有大志，甫一登基便決意改革朝政，唯執政時處處受到舊勢力制肘。已輔政數代的著名宰相，向有野心，在群臣慫恿下密謀兵變，欲假借民意天意，逼令太上皇另立新君。然太上皇早就洞悉陰謀，布下了天羅地網，準備一舉消滅這班虎狼……咦，乜咁似嗰部《康熙帝國》？
──所謂樹大有洩K，警隊中一樣有害群之馬。某CID向來與黑幫勾結，為對方通風報訊，一次卻被同僚悉破，情急之下將之滅口，成為一宗殺警懸案。幾年後，他與黑幫的關係轉壞，黑幫故意把事情曝光，引來另兩名CID的追查。結果三名CID在鬧市攤牌，引發大槍戰……咦，乜又咁似嗰部《無間道》？
