之前寫過，兒時日本動畫中的合體機械人，十分流行三機合一（如《三一萬能俠》），或五機合一的（《V型電磁俠》）。當然也曾經有六合一（《六神合體》），甚至十五機合一（《機甲艦隊》）的「異類」；然而主流仍然是三合一或五合一。
現今呢？話說最近在玩具店中，看到一個新出的機械人，乃來自日本新一輯的「超級戰隊系列」片集。該機械人由五機合體而成，都是些泥頭車、剷泥車等工程用車，看來十分有型；最難得是它一盒內有齊五機，不必分開買，且價錢相宜，於是我一時心動就買下了。
買回家後，馬上將五機合一又分體、分體又合一，把玩一番，不在話下。之後意猷未盡，上網找找有關此玩具的資料；一看之下，額上冒汗，心想：「今次中計了！」
原來，這個五合一只是最基本的組合。稍後，將會推出六號機及七號機，分別安裝在雙臂上。還有八號機和九號機，是機械人的兩隻大腳板。此四機乃分開發售的，每部都賣近港幣百元！
但九合一還未夠，廠方更公布了偉大的十號機，此機比整個機械人還要大件（即會更貴！），將會是它的雙翼！
最刺激的是，傳聞此片集還會出第二個N合一的機械人！
