我那長期居住在外地的父母,每次訪港小住,總會四圍搵食,回味一些外地嚐不到的地道食品。
那些大家馬上會聯想到的港式雲吞麵、燒鵝瀨粉、新鮮出爐老婆餅,以至沙田著名燒乳鴿等等,都是令他們回味無窮的大路之選,自然不在話下。然而,亦有很多他們特意要嚐的食品,是較令我意想不到的。
比如說,某大快孺悸滿u焗豬扒飯」,每次父親回港都一定要去吃一次;何解?因為這道食品表面上是西嚏A其實真的很「香港」的,別的地方絕對找不到那種獨特的味道。
另一類似例子是茶曙U的「西多士」,不過這一味更得我父所愛,總不會只吃一次那麼少!西多士似乎是來自法蘭西,但在外地吃的西多與香港西多,是完全兩種不同的東西!
除了食店食品之外,就算超市中也有回味目標,其中一款居然是某牌子的「藍罐曲奇」。母親解釋曰:「外國都有得賣,但係貴好多,唔捨得買,所以好少食。」
「紅豆雪條」,則肯定是東方特產,有錢都買不到;每次他們來我家住,雪櫃冰格必定長有紅豆雪條。
講起雪櫃,母親來訪的日子,少開它為妙,皆因果王「榴槤」正是她的至愛:「外國買又貴又唔靚嘛,所以買多灟僱f夠本囉!」
