內地很流行用「乜乜一條街」來稱呼一些著名街道景點。例如北京就有「酒吧一條街」，整條街由街頭到街尾都是酒吧。其他甚麼「小吃一條街」、「衣服一條街」、「古玩一條街」等名字，層出不窮，大家一看就知道那些街道的特色。
據知，「乜乜一條街」也被套用在香港的街道上。例如旺角西洋菜南街，由亞皆老街到登打士街的一段行人專用區，已被內地人稱為「電器一條街」。雖然那條街上並非百分百都是電器鋪，但卻絕對是電器店、手機店的集中地，「電器一條街」的稱號當之無楚C
舉一反三，附近的一段通菜街也可以稱作「金魚一條街」吧！雖則遊客很少會來港買金魚，但每次我帶外地人到「金魚街」一行，他們總會覺得嘆為觀止！因此「金魚一條街」這個名字，絕對可以被列入香港旅遊書中，成為一個正式稱號。別忘了，「金魚一條街」附近，還有「鮮花一條街」，花墟也！
「酒吧一條街」嘛，就不用多說了，蘭桂坊、諾士佛台、通菜街（近旺角警署）、灣仔一帶等等都是，見怪不怪。你又可知道，灣仔有一條小小的「玩具一條街」？九龍城有「平衫一條街」？何文田有「寵物一條街」？
