因為有收費電視公司上門做促銷，提供超平的員工價優惠，於是我失驚無神，又訂了一大堆新頻道。
申請之後，冷靜下來想一想：到底現時我家中的電視，可以看到多少個頻道？一時也答不上來。於是拿起遙控器，逐一細數。
首先是免費台，除了翡翠、明珠、本港、國際四台外，我所住的大廈又額外提供了九條衛星頻道，合共十三個台。
再數數收費電視公司甲，年前我訂了一個「豪華套嚏v，堪稱是最強組合乜都睇晒；細數之下，可以看的台共有七十三個台！嘩，乜已經有咁多？
之後是收費電視公司乙，因為是與寬頻上網一同申請的，之前只使用其免費提供的頻道，並沒有另外訂購，然也有二十一個台之多！今次在推銷員的游說下，新加購了十三個台，另再加「無線收費頻道組合」的二十個台，變成合共有五十四個台了！
埋計數，十三加七十三加五十四，從此我家中可以收看的電視台，有一百四十個！
假設我每天平均看電視三小時，一個月三十日共看九十小時，那麼，平均每個台每個月我只會停留不足四十分鐘！這說明：真的太多台了！
之不過，基於「後宮佳麗三千」的心態，我們總喜歡有多些選擇，愈多愈好！
