 最近在網上與一位北京朋友閒聊時，談到他的工作近況。原來去年他轉職到當地一家網絡遊戲（Online Game）公司任程式員，至今已半年有多，似乎做得十分稱心。
他更喜孜孜地表示，公司剛發了年終獎金，金額相等於他六個月的薪金！而其他入職較久、做滿一年以上的同事，更獲發高達十二個月的薪金作為年終獎金！難怪他形容這份工作：「做得很爽！」
由此可見，該家內地網絡遊戲公司絕對是賺了大錢，否則沒有可能如此大手筆厚待員工。有趣的是，其公司只提供一款Online Game給玩家，就已經可以有如此佳績了。
回想自己的經驗，我在幾年前也曾於香港一家網絡遊戲公司任職過。當時公司在港推出一款風靡韓國、台灣的Online Game，花了七位數字的宣傳費：找當紅女星做代言人，推出自家的遊戲雜誌，大派數十萬隻免費遊戲光碟……可是不到半年，就出現業務危機；香港根本沒有那麼多Online Game玩家，區區幾千個較忠實的Fans不可能令公司賺回那龐大的投資。
在港似乎不可為的網絡遊戲生意，如今卻在內地開花結果了，正是因為內地市場夠大嘛。十二個月的獎金呀，真叫人羡慕呢！
