記得當年初度踏足美國，甫一出機場，走上一架的士，直驅市區。車子在高速公路上走了好一會，我才驚覺：司機居然一邊駕車，一邊在看電視！
只見有一部小小的黑白電視機，安裝在咪錶位的附近；司機每隔三五秒，就會向電視機瞄上一瞄，然後又若無其事地飛馳。我在後座暗自心驚，卻又不敢作聲，只能向天禱告了！
忽然記起這段陳年經歷，皆因這天陪一位朋友去鴨寮街購物；他想選購的，正是專門安裝在汽車內的顯示器 / 電視機！
陪他走了半天，找到一部國產雜牌貨，外形像一般汽車音響機頭，但一按掣，內置的顯示器竟會自動伸展出來，除可接收電視之外，又可接駁汽車 VCD / DVD 機。如此 High 的玩意兒，價錢卻絕對不 High，只售一千三百元，但不連安裝費。
朋友買了之後，立即找人代為安裝，又花了三百五，然後邀我上車觀賞。車子一邊在市區行駛，一邊在播放電影 VCD。我忽然問：「邊駕車邊看電視，是否犯法會被警察拉？」朋友點頭。
我搖搖頭。這是明知故犯，為的是貪一時之 High。我今次成了幫兇了！
