朋友 E 小姐在過年前購物時，遇到「不愉快」經歷。她如今說起時仍然一把火，但大家聽落卻覺可笑。
那天 E 小姐走去某大連鎖藥店幫襯，於付款之時，女店員忽然對她說：「小姐，我哋呢度可以收人民幣㗎喎！」E 小姐無名火起，心諗：「乜我似大陸人咩？我似自遊行咩？」她即時發作，正色道：「請問我有邊方面令你認為我會用人民幣呢？」
店員自知撞板，只好陪笑道：「冇，我順口問下啫，我哋呢間店多遊客嘛……唔好意思。」就此小事化無，然而 E 小姐心中始終有點不快。
大家聽到此一小故事後，都不禁失笑，有人對 E 小姐說：「人家（該店員）實在太抬舉你了！現今用人民幣的才是有錢人呢！」更有人插嘴道：「係呀，而家好多富家單身內地女仔，一個人來香港掃貨㗎，通常都幾靚女㗎；咁個店員見你靚女，以為你係嗰啲女仔嘛！」
如果你遇到同樣的情況，有店員問你用不用人民幣，你會不高興嗎？多多少少也和 E 小姐一樣，會有點不快吧！將心比己，如果發生在我身上，我的即時反應會是找鏡子照照──乜我今日冇梳頭咩？
