最近大熱的日本漫畫《死亡筆記》，講述一個中學生偶然得到了「死神的筆記簿」，於是有了操控生殺大權的超凡能力。問題是，他如何使用這種能力？
起初他以為自己可替天行道，能把天下間的壞人都殺掉，令自己變相成為統治人間的「神」。可是在過程中，為了要掩飾殺人行為，他開始連好人、無辜的人也殺之滅口。於是，在不自覺下，他其實已成為了一個「惡魔」。作者將此主角的名字，設定為「夜神月」，看來別有深意。
不謀而合地，最近又有另一本漫畫，說的同樣是中學生得到非凡能力的故事。麻宮騎亞編繪的《JUNK》，講述一個有自閉傾向的中學生比呂，偶然得到了可以變身成超人的戰衣系統「JUNK」。結果他便使用超人能力來報復，把之前欺負過他的同學逐一毆至重傷。但在行動過程中，他不但大大破壞了社會秩序，更意外地殺死了雙親。以為自己成了「神」的他，同樣走上了「惡魔」的道路。
現實世界中沒有「死亡筆記」沒有「超人戰衣」，可是當我見到校園槍擊事件的兇手都是些中學生時，我絕不懷疑「少年出惡魔」的說法！
