前文提到近日城中的「養死狗」事件：四隻狗被人鎖在天台幾天，暴曬斷水，悲鳴不絕，終引起鄰居注意；但被發現時已一死三傷，可謂聞者心酸、見者心痛。
忽然想起，最近有位朋友也幾乎「養死狗」！不過，若然她真的把狗養死了，不但不會上報紙，也不會被控虐畜，只會被大家恥笑一番而已！因為，她所養的是「任天狗」！
「任天狗」是「任天堂」最新手提遊戲機 NDS 的遊戲軟件，近排被煲得火熱。據知，這陣子有不少購買 NDS 的人，都是為了想玩「任天狗」也！
其實，類似的「養狗」遊戲，早於第一代 PlayStation 時期已推出過，乃當年「他媽哥治」熱潮的延續，並沒有甚麼新意。不過，以 NDS 今時今日的最新技術，熒幕中的狗仔已可以做到「真嘅一樣」、栩栩如生，女士們一見就必然大呼「卡哇依呢」，於是「任天狗」就成弗孆J了 OL 市場，再掀熱潮。
我的朋友就是最佳例子。向來不甚打機的她，見其他人玩「任天狗」咁過癮，於是就買了 NDS 回來。但開機之後，她卻無從入手，不懂如何餵狗放狗；可憐的電子小狗，遲早會被她玩死！
