我計畫於十一月底到上海一趟，誰知一早走漏風聲，十月中就收到一封來自上海某親戚的電郵。
「超超，很久沒有聯繫了。知道你在下個月會來上海，很高興。如果方便的話，請幫我看看以下的東西在香港的售價是多少。如果香港比上海便宜，就要麻煩你幫我在香港買了帶過來給我，錢我會付回給你的，謝謝……」
嘩！果然消息靈通，果然抓緊機會，果然精打細算！此乃上海人的四大特性之三！第四點是甚麼？那是見面交談才能領會的。
收到這個電郵，我真無話可說了，話晒對方是一位長輩，只好看看他想買的東西是啥物事：「……我想買的是，蘋果牌……」看到此，有點迷茫，一時腦筋轉不過來，還以為是「蘋果牌牛仔褲」，再睇真啲：「……蘋果牌的 i-Pod，15G 或 20G 的，或者 i-Pod Mini……」
嘩！原來是 Apple i-Pod 這東西！但香港人慣稱 Apple，甚少用「蘋果牌」來形容之，所以我才迷茫。
但更迷茫的是，這玩意兒我自己都沒有買，但上海人已要我代買，如此說來，我豈非比已他們落後了？連忙去格價，我都要買番部！
