終於買入了，我一生人第七部電腦。
回想十幾二十年前，擁有第一部電腦時，真的有點戰戰競競的感覺。當時母親答應買一部日漸流行的 Apple II 給我，我事前感到十分興奮；但不知怎地，在電腦送來的前一兩天，我忽然患上了「電腦憂鬱症」，一種很奇怪的感覺不斷湧入我腦海，令我日思夜想：
「人類真有可能人人家中都有電腦嗎？太難以想像了！太不可思議了！我這是在造夢嗎？我有生之年真的可以擁有電腦嗎？抑或我明天就會夢醒？又或者在這個夢想實現之前，我就會死去？……」可以說我天真，可以說我多愁善感；但我自己回想起來，只是一個字：笨！
自第一部機之後，以後平均三年就換一部了！由 486 到 Pentium 到 P2 到 P3 到現在的 P4，由 66MHz 的微處理器到 233MHz 到 1GHz 到今日的 3GHz，我非但沒有夢醒，且愈夢愈深！
這一次，是第七次了，電腦送來之前我沒有緊張，也沒有睡不?；只是不斷地盤算?如何把資料備份，新機來之後如何安裝程式，以得到順利過渡……但忽然又開始想：我一生人總共會買多少部電腦呢？沉思……
