兩個人，G 君與 J 君，都是曾經由我親自聘請、一手提拔的傳媒後晉。
當年我任職某雜誌主管時，收到 G 君圖文並茂如一本小雜誌般的求職信，被打動了。雖然正式見工時，他有點口窒窒，但我還是錄用。後來，發覺他創意其實一般，惟勝在做事穩陣有紋有路，適合擔當編輯部把關重任，於是幾年間一再提拔，由編輯到副總編輯到總編輯，大家也一同捱過了不少日夜。
J 君當年全無傳媒經驗，卻很想入行，託他大哥引薦；他大哥乃雜誌廣告部的同事。面試後，我見 J 君有潛質，破格試用；結果他由記者做起，數年間升為組長，後更被人挖角，輾轉幾年成為另一本雜誌的總編輯。──哈哈，想落，經我手調教出來的總編輯，原來也有不少！
話說回來，最近我接獲一項新任務，需要羅致信得過的人才，第一時間，就想起以上兩位。他們目前都不再是總編輯了，總會念舊相助吧！我以為。
其中一個客氣地以電郵婉拒，講一大堆原因，結論是：「都係唔好了。」另一位則當面一句話：「你唔使理我，你叫我去邊度幫手我就去邊！」買二中一，我覺得自己還算是成左滿C
