今時今日，釵h的士司機都需要身兼二職，開車之餘，兼夾做埋「的士 Call 台」的工作。
以往，我們若要電召的士，都要致電的士台，由 Call 台小姐以無線電機呼喚街上的司機來接客，每個「柯打」一般加收五元。現在嘛，相信大家手上都一定有一兩位的士司機的手機號碼，毋須再經的士台，叫的士只要直接打給司機便可，大部分還會給你八折優惠。
為了接多點生意，司機們可辛苦了！只見他們都備有兩部手提電話在車內，其中一部專供客人打來。電話一響，司機便連忙拿起紙筆，把對方的姓氏、手機號碼、所處位置及欲往區域等記錄低。然後，以另一部專門打出用的手機，或以無線電通訊，找尋有空去接客的夥伴。聯絡好後，又要回電給客人，把前往接載的士的車牌號碼告知對方……以上所有動作，都是司機一邊駕車一邊做的。
我試過坐一程的士，途中司機電話講不停，接了七、八個「柯打」。聽他說，他的「網絡」可以連繫上百多二百部的士，真厲害！
這種逆市求生法，充分表現了香港精神。可是，當局卻將之定性為非法，何必呢？
