雅典奧運閉幕，開始倒數二○○八年北京奧運。謹在此搶先作出「北京奧運大預言」！
預言一：中國在北京奧運會中，金牌數目會再創新高，甚至進佔金牌榜榜首！
傳統上，主辦國佔有相當地利（及人和）；例如八八年漢城奧運，南韓就破天荒在金牌榜上名列前芧，以十二面金牌穩坐第四位，之後幾屆卻每況愈下，跌到第七、第十、第十二，今屆稍微回升到第九位，可見地利因素之重要性。中國今屆已創新佳績，於四年後加上地利人和，相信會再有突破！而反觀金牌霸主美國，今屆只比中國多三面金牌而已，四年後要超過她，絕非不可能！
預言二：香港代表隊亦會在北京奧運，拿不止一面獎牌！
有了「乒乓孖寶」今屆為港勇奪銀牌的先例，預料更多內地不同項目的運動員，會循來港一途謀求更佳個人發展，變相提高港隊質素。除了乒乓球、羽毛球有此趨勢外，也雩鶪禲B體操等個人項目會是下一波。
預言三：以下這些人士，至少有部分會在北京奧運開幕典禮台上出現：成龍、李連杰、劉德華、王菲、李雲迪、女子十二樂坊……
