信不信由你，真的有人會為了大閘蟹，而特別安排每年秋季放大假，專程自外地回港啖蟹；至少，我家中就有一個這樣的「蟹癡」。
說的是我妹妹，她已移居紐約十多年，自小已愛吃大閘蟹；記憶中，她在三歲那年，就已經可自己幹掉一隻了！──記憶可能有錯，但這幾年她專程來港吃蟹，倒是絕對沒有誇張的事實。
話說回來，據知早幾年在紐約華埠的海鮮檔，每到蟹季亦會有新鮮空運的大閘蟹發售，但數量極少奇貨可居，故價錢甚貴，要賣二十五美元一只（近二百港元）。妹妹在那邊的十多年來，大概只吃過一兩次而已。
近年，當地食物衞生部門嚴禁活家禽水產入口，故此大閘蟹亦絕迹於市。可憐妹妹這個「蟹癡」，餓蟹久矣！年前終於忍不住，決定索性回港吃蟹；試過一次之後，漸漸成為習慣。
前兩天，她又來了。我這個東道主，是晚帶她上館子吃每位三百元的大閘蟹嚏A包清蒸大閘蟹每人兩隻（各五六両重）、蟹黃翅、蟹粉小籠包、蟹粉蒜茸包等等，可謂由頭蟹到落尾，吃得她十分滿足。
如果有朝一日，她說要移居回來香港，我想，大閘蟹必定是其中一大因素。
