我在美國讀大學時，是主修美術的；雖然釵h人知道了之後，都表示難以置信。
不信的人有兩類：一類是舊友，特別是中學同學，他們會問：「你明明以前讀理科，點會走去讀美術㗎？」而另一類，則是新交，特別是同事：「你讀美術咩？為乜會變咗做呢行呢？」
哼，說穿了，他們心裏覺得我這個人，半點兒不像有美術天分，所以才不信罷。Well，不要緊，做人至緊要有自信；我打從小學三年級的聖誕節開始，就對自己很有美術天分這個事實，確信無疑了！
話說那年聖誕臨近，美術課老師給大家的作業是繪畫聖誕卡，並表示會選取優異作品參加校內外的聖誕卡設計比賽。老實說，小三學生，那懂甚麼設計？記得當時我就胡亂地東抄西抄，畫了十來隻 Snoopy 狗，圍着一棵五顏六色的聖誕樹，狀甚快樂地開派對。
不費吹灰之力，該卡就在校內比賽拿了個亞軍，更被送往香港藝術中心的包兆龍畫廊展出。美術天分，天生我有！
第二年，參加同一個比賽，我認為不能再玩抄襲，要原創，遂加倍用心去構思、繪畫。結果？輸得無影無蹤。小小心靈開始懷疑：難道「抄」才是致勝之道？
