Subject: New discovery

Hi there, We just discovered our six month old Jack Russell pup is deaf.. We should have known earlier, but overlooked the obvious signs.. We thought maybe she was not so smart. Now we feel like the ones who are not so smart. Anyway we love her and she is a wonderful addition to our family. I would love some suggestions. We live in a very busy house. Six children at home and being homeschooled. Everyone has always taken an active part with her and needs to be in on whatever special training we do. Is it really necessary to keep her on a lead all the time? We have three other dogs, a Chessy, a St Bernard, and a Lab. She interacts great with everyone in our house. We are way out in the country, but have always scooped her up if anyone was headed up our road. Iam unsure whatelse to add.. We would appreciate whatever tips you could share with us.
Kathleen
