>Hi Anne. I have a deaf english bulldog puppy too. He is almost 8 months old and mostly all white. He is a doll and we are so glad that we didn't let the knowledge that he was deaf keep us from adopting him. There are some advantages to the deafness which I think that you will discover too. The hardest thing is not to startle him. We don't try to wake him, we let him wake up on his own mostly from the scent of us in the room. He tends to stay very close to my husband and I so keeping his attention isn't difficult and of course he is never off leash when outside of his own backyard. No one who has met him knows any differently and he is all boy. I hope that your training goes well and I am glad to hear that we are not the only ones to recognize what angels our deaf puppies really are.
