Also, a message for everyone.... Dont give up. Yes the tower may be up ... BUT! WHAT GOES UP, MUST COME DOWN.

I was at the first rally opposing the tower. I noticed the Oatley Flora and Fauna Society providing information. I believe there is a group called the Hurstville Residents Association? and I know there is the Lugarno Progress Association. It begs the question. Why dont all these groups as well as the Tower Protest group get together as a force and have some political action on Hurstville Council.Council has had community consultation in their Hurstville Horizons workshops and we have not seen any progress. I live near Oatley Park and have seen its degradation over the last eight years. It is true that it is loved(used) to death. Something more active has to be done to protect the Park from all sorts of threats including the Tower.
