I'm sorry to hear about your mom being ill. :(

It's true about watching the news. My mom gave up watching it years ago. She only watches the weather but nowadays even the weather seems prone to the dramatic.

I did read about the other murders you mentioned but did not know about the stabbing of M. That sounds like the worst of the bunch. Not that you can rate something like that.

Okay, so I'll be happy for my day and won't complain about elderly relatives and be happy in the HEAT! ;0)
