My neighbor used to have a nice flower garden in her side yard. I used to like to look at it out my bedroom window and had my computer facing so I could see the flowers as I surfed the net. But a few years ago she started to ignore it and it didn't look like much. (I actually re-arranged my furniture and moved the computer away from the window.) About a month ago I notice she and her hubby are clearing the space and about a week later some green leaves start to pop out. At first I thought the plants were some kind of lilies but I soon realized it's corn. I have a corn field outside my bedroom window. About 25 stalks and a pumpkin plant (or two ). The corn is almost as high as that lyrical elephant's eye. Ahhh, city living.
