Yes, after the sadness of seeing what is happening, the disgust at the poor response, there is the feeling of shame of this is what America is - as seen by the world.
I don't mean those folks in the path of Katrina. I think the majority have been more patient than I would have been. But the embarrassment that THIS is the so-called Greatest Nation in the World and the Three Stooges could have done a better job. Is there such a thing as a tragic farce?
