OK now is not the time to try to find a cheap AC. Though so many folks have central air that stores may not run out of window units.

Logical - save up - you can get a good window unit for under $100. Kenmore makes a 5000 BTU that makes my room like a freezer. I have it set for only half as high as it can go and it's cold. I don't like AC it dries out my sinuses but I go outside for a few minutes and water the plants to relieve the potential headache pressure. OK more than anyone needed to know.

This heat is really dangerous.
