The tall arab let out an agry squeal when the other bit down upon his back leg. His leg came to the ground with a bleeding wound. The steed lashed out with his teeth at the loners flank. He was getting sick of the loner, he had noticed the human with his mares, but didnt dare stop to chase her off. He had a feeling this loner would take one of His mares.

The young dun filly let out a squeal, but she, like other foals, was full of curiousidy. SHe took a tiny step forward, but was cut off by her dam. The small lead mare came galloping over and lashed out a the twolegger. SHe placed a nip on the fillys hindqarters and herded her closer in the herd.

LouLou watched the two stallions fight. SHe looked around at her herd, it was her family. SHe knew that her stallion wasnt to fond of her, sonce at 5, shes only had one of his foals, and it was stillborn. SHe watched the loner, wondering why she was the only mare interested in him. But she felt a little guilty roting for the new stallion, rather than her lead.
